Evercare Medical Accessibility

Digital accessibility at Evercare Medical

At Evercare Medical, we want our digital services and information to be accessible to as many people as possible.

Our customers work in environments where time is limited and needs are often urgent. It must therefore be easy to find the right products, services and support, regardless of individual circumstances. Accessibility is a natural part of our work to support safe and secure healthcare.

We follow established standards

We design our websites and digital services based on international accessibility guidelines, in particular:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • European Accessibility Act (EAA), where we continue to follow the development of upcoming requirements.

Our goal is for all our major web services to meet at least WCAG 2.1 Level AA and to identify and address shortcomings step by step in areas where we have not yet reached this goal.

How we work with digital accessibility

Design and user experience

We aim to create interfaces that are clear, consistent and easy to use:

  • good readability through clear typography and colour contrast
  • simple navigation, including on mobile devices
  • clear headings, buttons and links that explain what will happen when clicked.

Content and language

We want our content to be understandable, relevant and easy to read:

  • we use clear and straightforward language and avoid unnecessary jargon
  • we structure content using headings, lists and short paragraphs
  • we aim to provide alternative text or supplementary descriptions for images, icons and diagrams.

Technology and development

Our development teams continuously work on technical improvements that strengthen accessibility, including:

  • using semantic HTML and code that works with assistive technologies such as screen readers
  • ensuring that key functionality can be accessed and used with a keyboard
  • testing important user flows across different devices and browsers
  • addressing identified accessibility issues as part of our ongoing maintenance and development work.

An ongoing effort

Accessibility is not something we can ever consider completely "finished". New functionality, new requirements and new technologies mean that we need to continuously review, adjust and improve our solutions.

We:

  • prioritise known accessibility issues based on how they affect users in their everyday lives
  • monitor developments in legal requirements and industry practices
  • integrate accessibility into our internal processes for development, content and quality.

Help us improve

If you find that any part of our websites or digital services is not accessible, we would like to hear from you.

Contact us by email: accessibility@evercare-medical.com

Please describe:

  • which page or service the issue relates to
  • which assistive technology or device you are using
  • the type of problem you are experiencing.

We review all feedback and use it as a basis for our ongoing improvement work.
