How to use evercare® Medical Hydrogel Dressing

In these recommendations you will find guidance on how to use evercare® Medical Hydrogel Dressing.

Step 1

After the wound is cleaned and disinfected, product of certain specification is chosen to the wound area, the hydrogel dressing should be 5–10 mm larger than the wound in margins.

Step 2 - Pouch opening

Take out the sterile dressing from the package.

Step 3

Hydrogel Adhesive Dressing: Peel off one half of the white plastic liner, position it on the wound or skin, smooth onto the treated place and peel off the remaining half of plastic liner.

Hydrogel Non-Adhesive Dressing: For treating larger wound areas, several dressings may be used side by side. For smaller areas/wounds, dressing may be cut to proper size.

Step 4

Hydrogel Adhesive Dressing: When the dressing is attached to the place, the backing films must be removed.

Hydrogel Non-Adhesive Dressing: Secure the applied Hydrogel NonAdhesive Dressing with a suitable secondary dressing, bandage, tape, or compression system where applicable.
