Embra® was represented at ReUsable as Evercare Medical’s brand for healthcare products developed with sustainability in mind. The event focused on how reusable solutions can move from research results to practical impact in the operating room.

During the day, Amsterdam UMC and project partners shared learnings from the project, including what has been tested in practice and what has been learned about environmental impact, usability and costs.

The Embra Way in practice

The Embra Way is Evercare Medical’s framework for guiding the development of Embra products and projects. It helps define how products can contribute to lower environmental impact through criteria such as CO2 reduction, recycled or renewable materials, reusability and recognised environmental certifications.

At ReUsable, this approach was reflected in conversations with healthcare professionals, suppliers and partners. The event created a valuable opportunity to connect the Embra® criterias with real needs in the operating room, including comfort, workflow, logistics and implementation.
