Expanding our Nordic Swan portfolio: New ecolabelled Embra products on the way

Evercare Medical is taking the next step in our sustainability journey by expanding our portfolio of Nordic Swan Ecolabelled products. Earlier this year, the Embra Gravity Set (PVC free) became the first Evercare Medical device – and the first gravity infusion set on the market – to receive the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Now we are building on that achievement by adding more Nordic Swan certified Embra products to our range.

This expansion strengthens our position and gives all companies in the group more concrete tools to support customers’ ESG goals and their own climate and environmental strategies.

A strong foundation: Embra Gravity Set – our first Nordic Swan certified product

The Embra Gravity Set is a sterile, single use IV administration set designed to safely deliver intravenous fluids into a patient’s vascular system. It is PVC free, equipped with an air vent function, features a transparent soft drip chamber for easy filling, a 15 micron particle filter, and a rotating luer lock. The set is compatible with glass bottles, plastic bags and plastic bottles, and is delivered with a closed hatch to support safe handling.

With these features, the Embra Gravity Set proves that safer materials, reliable performance and strong environmental standards can go hand in hand – exactly in line with the Embra philosophy. It carries Nordic Swan Ecolabel license number 3098 0003 in the product group “Disposable bags, tubes and accessories for health care” (098).
